Представляем вашему вниманию приложение Sizing Options, которое позволяет изменять плотность расположения пикселей на экране ноутбука (DPI) по желанию пользователя.
Это приложение способно «играть» с плотностью расположения пикселей в пределах 100%, 125%, 150% (наилучший режим), 175% и 200% DPI. Но стоит оговориться, что вся палитра режимов доступна лишь для панелей с разрешением 2880 x 1620 или 3840 x 2160.
Если приложение Sizing Options было установлено корректно, то в меню “Пуск” в папке MSI появится его иконка. Также она появится в системном трее. Для запуска Sizing Options есть два способа:
1. Кликаем левой кнопкой мыши два раза на ярлыке Sizing Options на рабочем столе или на иконке в трее и запускаем приложение.
2. Кликаем левой кнопкой мыши на иконке Sizing Options в меню “Пуск” и запускаем приложение.
В главном меню Sizing Options вам будет предложено пять предустановок: 100%, 125%, 150%, 175% и 200% DPI. 150% DPI является режимом по-умолчанию, так как оптимально подходит для разрешения 2880 x 1620 (3K-панель) или 3840 x 2160 (4K-панель). Если же экран вашего ноутбука имеет разрешение отличное от 2880 x 1620 или 3840 x 2160, то предварительный просмотр изменений будет невозможен.

Noob question about the ‘Sizing Options’-application
I just discovered the Sizing Options application on my GE62. Turn out the default is set to 125%.
At 125%, it says in red letters «best for your screen».
However, if I set it to 100% everything is a little smaller, so I have much more screen real estate.
So I just wanna make sure.
Since 125% is ‘best for my screen’, does that mean when I set it to 100% it is bad for my screen or can it shorten the life span of my screen or did MSI just use poor wording?

If every software works and the way you play with your computer feels right , i don’t see why you would shorten the life of your laptop .
I’m a simple user but you can always ask MSI directly if you want

It’s just a magnification setting, my 15″ screen came set up the same way, meaning «best for your size of screen to have some magnification so you can see on a smaller 15″ screen». You can put a 1920×1080 image up and verify that you’ll only see it all if you have your magnification set to 100%, if it’s set to the 125%, you won’t see it all on the screen. So there’s a good way to prove it’s just an opinion of a magnification setting, and nothing to do with screen wear and tear.
I just run at 100%, then set my browser (I use Chrome) to 125% instead, since the text is a little small for my old eyes. Ctrl+Scroll Wheel also lets you zoom on Chrome fast and easy too. You can also change the size of the desktop icons to an appropriate size too. A few other tweaks for individual size changes, instead of just losing all that screen real estate, like you mentioned.
